About Explore Hastings

ExploreHastingsMI.com is operated by Hastings Business Connection to promote Hastings-area businesses, community activities, events, and local resources.

Website content is provided for general informational and promotional purposes.

Membership Options

Hastings Business Connection currently offers the following participation levels:

Membership benefits may evolve over time as Hastings Business Connection programs, events, and resources change.

Membership Signup and Invoicing

Submitting a membership form does not constitute payment or activation of a paid membership.

Businesses selecting Trailblazer or Supporter membership will receive an invoice from Hastings Business Connection at the email address provided during signup.

Paid membership becomes active after the applicable invoice is paid.

Annual Membership Fees

Trailblazer and Supporter membership fees are annual.

Current membership pricing is displayed on the Hastings Business Connection membership page.

Hastings Business Connection may update pricing or benefits for future membership periods. Updated pricing will not retroactively change the price of an already-paid membership period.

Membership Renewal

Paid memberships are renewed annually through a renewal invoice.

Hastings Business Connection may send a renewal invoice as the current membership period approaches expiration.

A member may pay the renewal invoice manually or, when an available automatic-payment option has been expressly authorized by the member, the invoice may be paid automatically in accordance with that authorization.

Payment of the annual renewal invoice renews the applicable Hastings Business Connection membership for the next membership period.

A member is responsible for maintaining valid payment information for any automatic-payment method the member chooses to authorize.

Automatic Payments

Automatic payment is optional.

Members who authorize automatic payment permit the applicable payment provider to charge the authorized payment method for eligible membership invoices in accordance with that authorization.

Members who do not authorize automatic payment may pay their invoices manually.

Authorization of automatic payment does not change the annual nature of the membership fee.

Business Listings

Paid members may be eligible for a business listing on ExploreHastingsMI.com according to their membership level.

Members are responsible for providing accurate and current information for their listings.

Hastings Business Connection may format, resize, crop, edit for clarity, or make minor presentation adjustments to submitted information, logos, and images so they fit the Explore Hastings directory and website design.

HBC will not intentionally make material changes to the meaning of a member’s submitted business information without reasonable cause.

Member-Submitted Content

By submitting business descriptions, logos, photographs, graphics, or other materials to Hastings Business Connection, you represent that you have the right to provide and authorize use of those materials.

You grant Hastings Business Connection permission to use, reproduce, resize, crop, format, and display submitted materials for purposes related to:

• ExploreHastingsMI.com
• HBC business-directory listings
• Hastings Business Connection promotions
• HBC events
• Social media
• Email communications
• Other reasonable HBC community-promotion activities

You retain ownership of materials you submit.

Accuracy of Business Information

Members are responsible for notifying Hastings Business Connection when public-facing business information changes.

Hastings Business Connection is not responsible for losses or inconvenience resulting from inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or incorrectly submitted information supplied by a member.

Events and Promotional Opportunities

Trailblazer membership may include eligibility to participate in certain HBC events, promotions, or marketing opportunities.

Membership does not guarantee participation in every event, promotion, social-media post, advertising opportunity, or other HBC activity.

Individual events and promotions may have separate requirements, deadlines, capacity limitations, or participation rules.

No Guarantee of Business Results

Hastings Business Connection and Explore Hastings provide visibility, community connection, and promotional opportunities.

Membership does not guarantee:

• Website traffic
• Search-engine rankings
• Leads
• Sales
• Revenue
• Event attendance
• Customer referrals
• Any particular business result

Payments and Refunds

Trailblazer and Supporter membership fees are non-refundable once paid.

Membership fees cover the applicable annual membership period and the benefits associated with that membership level.

Membership fees will not be prorated or refunded because a member chooses not to use available membership benefits, does not participate in events or promotions, closes or changes its business, or otherwise stops participating during the membership period.

If an invoice was sent or charged in error, or you believe a payment-processing error has occurred, contact Hastings Business Connection at support@info.explorehastingsmi.com so the matter can be reviewed.

Acceptable Use

You may not use ExploreHastingsMI.com to:

• Violate applicable law
• Attempt unauthorized access to the website or related systems
• Interfere with website operation
• Submit fraudulent or misleading information
• Upload content you do not have the right to use
• Introduce malicious software or harmful code

Third-Party Websites and Services

ExploreHastingsMI.com may link to websites, social media profiles, maps, payment providers, or other services operated by third parties.

Hastings Business Connection does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their availability, content, products, services, security, terms, or privacy practices.

Website Availability

Hastings Business Connection may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of ExploreHastingsMI.com as needed.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website.

Intellectual Property

Hastings Business Connection may update these Terms from time to time.

Material updates will be reflected by changing the Effective Date shown at the top of this page.

Continued use of ExploreHastingsMI.com after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
